If you need to restrict searches for names at FamilySearch, consider using the wildcards * and ?.
Make certain you have the exact box checked as shown in the illustrations.
The * will be replaced with any number of characters–there were 2116 results for k*le in the Alabama Deaths, 1908-1974.
The ? will be replaced with just one character–k?le resulted in 871 matches in the same database.
Including ending letters can make your search more effective. Think about the main variants for your names. Depending upon your name’s variants, this may be the best search strategy to use.
