Late Twentieth Century Database on FamilySearch

This database onĀ FamilySearch contains over 875 million names–many names have multiple entries–that can help researchers with mid and late twentieth century individuals.

United States Public Records, 1970-2009

The description of this database is rather broad, but states:

These records were generated from telephone directories, property tax assessments, credit applications, and other records available to the public.

    Not in favor of this at all. I work very hard at keeping myself safe. Putting my name and address on the internet is not something I want done by someone else.

      I understand that. The information in this database is all from public records–it’s just been aggregated into one large database.
